PRACTITIONER

DR JOSH DAWSON – Three Pillars Osteopathy

Sc. (Clin. Sc.). M. H. Sc. (Osteopathy)

ABOUT

Since completing his Osteopathic studies in Victoria, Josh has worked across two thriving holistic health clinics in Melbourne’s South-East & Surf Coast regions, where he has gained invaluable experience in the assessment, diagnosis & treatment of a wide range of muscular & skeletal conditions. His core belief that the body is a single unit capable of self-healing when there is a harmony between body, mind & spirit, drives his Osteopathic practice.

Recently relocating to Port Willunga with his wife Steph to be closer to family in anticipation of the birth of their first child, Josh brings with him a comprehensive knowledge of the human body’s anatomy & the biomechanics of movement. He is able to tailor a vast range of manual therapy techniques including soft tissue massage, counter-strain, muscle-energy technique, joint mobilisation & manipulation, in order to best accommodate your individual needs & preferences. Further studies in dry needling, myofascial cupping, and workplace ergonomics, enhance Josh’s well-rounded approach to treatment in order to provide his clients with a high level of ongoing management & support.

Josh brings with him a vibrant outlook on health; he loves nothing more than helping people regain their optimal state of wellness so that they can get back to doing the things they love. Personally, Josh enjoys outdoor activities including running, swimming & yoga, a wholesome plant-based diet, and spending quality time with friends & family.

You may even spot him at the beach trying to improve on his questionable surfing skills!
